Ag Alert is the California Farm Bureau's weekly newspaper. In March 2025 it ran a story on a California grower-processor using automation to steady labor and costs - and on the machines our ag division built to do it. The article is here: Adding automation helps lower farm risk.

The piece covers both of the prototype lines we have running: the onion topping-and-tailing machine - five washdown robots, ten cameras, one Jetson - and an AI-vision jalapeno de-stemmer that locates each stem and feeds a set of knives.

If you want the engineering detail behind the onion machine, we wrote it up in Topping and Tailing Onions at One Per Second. The shorter overview lives on our portfolio: Automated Onion Processing System with Vision-Guided Robotics.
