Flexible Robot Work Cell for Streamlined Material Handling

Client Challenge:

A manufacturing company needed to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of their material handling processes across multiple production lines. Manual processes were labor-intensive, error-prone, and struggled to adapt to changing production demands. The company required a scalable solution for bin-to-bin, conveyor-to-bin, and conveyor-to-conveyor picking tasks.

Our Solution:

We designed and implemented a flexible robotic work cell solution for four production lines. The turnkey solution included a robot manipulator, orchestration server, sensor subsystems (depth and RGB cameras), safety subsystems, power subsystems, and network subsystems. The work cell was designed for compatibility with existing equipment and featured an onboard air compressor, flexible mounting enclosure, and product handling for various material flows.
