Saber is comprised of four service units. These components work separately or in unison in order to deliver the most comprehensive solution to our customers. The STANDARD INTEGRATION Group specializes in PLC, SCADA, HMI, Networks, Telemetry, and Panel Fabrication. The CUSTOM SOFTWARE Group designs and develops software solutions that require custom drivers, interfaces, protocols and databases. The VISION Group implements machine vision systems and sensors for a wide variety of applications such OCV, part inspection, measurement and identification. The SOFTWARE PRODUCTS Group markets and supports two product lines: SecondSight™ for video surveillance and industrial monitoring and VisionTrac™ for use with Cognex vision systems as a graphical interface and data recorder, compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

Project Engineer – Machine Vision
Qualifications:
BSEE, BSCS, BS Ind. Tech; Machine Vision Design preferably with Cognex and/or DVT Systems; Lighting and optics design; PLC programming; Good mechanical skill set; Basic knowledge of control system electronics; Project management; Technical writing skills.
Beneficial Skills:
Matrox Systems, Vision Pro, other vision systems, Visual Basic, C++, Computer Networking and System Architecture, CAD, SolidWorks, Mechanical design, SCADA, graphical user interface design, electrical control panel design, FDA software validation procedures, database experience.
Job Description:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating customized vision inspection and control systems consisting of Cognex In-sight, DVT and other vision systems. The candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years experience with vision system integration. Project management and technical writing skills are a must. You will also be involved in electrical panel design, system integration and mechanical design. Travel will be required on a per job basis.
